Tampere builds health tech. We build the quality behind it. MoniDose Oy and Business Tampere — the economic development agency of the Tampere city region — have agreed on a pilot programme that gives health-technology companies in the Business Tampere ecosystem free access to MoniDoseQMS, the quality management system built for regulated health-tech companies.
What the programme offers
Every participating company gets the full MoniDoseQMS platform — 130+ integrated quality modules covering document control, risk management, CAPA, design controls, clinical, and post-market surveillance, with EU MDR, FDA QMSR, ISO 13485 and the EU AI Act built in — free for a defined pilot period:
- Companies under one year old get MoniDoseQMS free for 6 months — long enough to build a real quality system alongside product development.
- Established companies get a free 60-day pilot — long enough to migrate real quality work and evaluate the fit properly.
- The pilot carries no obligation: it exists to let each company judge whether the platform suits its needs. Continuing after the pilot is a separate decision made by the company alone.
How it works
Business Tampere acts as the programme's enabler and communicator: companies in its health-tech ecosystem tell Business Tampere they want in, and Business Tampere passes the participating companies to MoniDose. Each company then signs its own service agreement directly with MoniDose covering its free period — Business Tampere takes no part in sales, pricing, or commercial negotiations, and the pilot commits nobody to anything beyond trying the platform.
The Tampere region is home to one of Finland's strongest health-technology concentrations — from university spin-offs to established device manufacturers. A quality system is where every one of those companies eventually stands or falls in front of a regulator, and the earlier it exists, the cheaper it is to build well. That is precisely the gap this programme closes: quality built in from day one, at zero cost during the phase where budgets are tightest.
