Module spotlight: Distribution Records

If you ever need a recall, distribution records are what make it possible. They track where your product went.

By MoniDoseQMS Team

Traceability does not end when product leaves the building. Distribution records track where your product went — which customers, which markets — so that if a field action is ever needed, you can reach exactly the right units.

What you can do

  • Record where product is distributed
  • Connect distribution to batches and lots
  • Support precise, targeted recalls when needed
  • Maintain a traceable distribution history

Why it matters

ISO 13485 §7.5.9 expects traceability appropriate to the device, and effective recalls depend on it. Distribution records turn a recall from a broad sweep into a precise action.
