A medical device rarely operates in isolation. It shares space with phones, monitors, and other equipment, all emitting and receiving electromagnetic energy. EMC/EMI testing confirms your device keeps working correctly in that environment — and does not disturb the devices around it.

- Track emissions and immunity against acceptance criteria
- Connect findings to design and risk records
- Keep traceable evidence for conformity assessment
Why it matters
EMC is a recognised requirement for electrical medical devices (IEC 60601-1-2). Keeping the evidence in the QMS, linked to design verification, makes it part of a coherent technical file.
