Module spotlight: Return Material Authorizations
Returned product is a signal and a risk. RMA management controls how returns are received, evaluated, and resolved.

A returned product can carry information — and risk. Return material authorization (RMA) management gives you a controlled way to receive returns, evaluate why they came back, and resolve them, while keeping returned units segregated from good stock.
What you can do
- Authorise and track product returns
- Evaluate returned product and the reason for return
- Link returns to complaints, deviations, and CAPA
- Keep returned units controlled and traceable
Why it matters
Returns often surface quality signals first. A controlled RMA process connects them to complaint handling and CAPA, so returned product becomes insight rather than just inventory.
