A procedure is only as good as the people trained to follow it. Training management and competency assessments make sure the right people are trained on the right documents, and that you can demonstrate their competence when an auditor asks.
What you can do
- Assign and track training across the team from the training hub
- Generate training assignments automatically when a document becomes effective
- Run competency assessments and maintain a skills matrix
- Keep a date- and time-stamped record of who is trained on what
Why it matters
ISO 13485 §6.2 requires that personnel are competent and that training is documented. Linking training to document changes means a new version of an SOP automatically tells you who needs to be retrained — closing a gap that paper systems leave wide open.
